Hello Everyone!
The biggest news of all...I started walking! Yep, it started out as a couple steps and then grew into more steps...and then into full fledged walking! I still like pushing my car around, but now I just get up and go!
And of course, I enjoyed my first Halloween this year! I got to get dressed up and do a little trick or treating...okay, Mom and Dad really did the trick or treating...I just looked really cute! I was a Pumpkin...I know you are all thinking...boring, but way till you see me! Mom and I headed to Downtown Castle Rock for the costume contest...I didn't win, but there were a lot of cute kids to compete against! Then Dad joined us for a stroll around town to get some treats. And then I went to do a nice thing, dropped off food for a food drive, and got my picture taken.
I also enjoyed checking out some neighbors houses to show off my outfit and even greeted some of the kids at the door! Wow, there were a lot of different costumes! And Dad let me have some Twizzlers!
And in preparation for the big night, I helped Mom and Dad carve the pumpkins...well, okay I stuck my hand in the pumpkin a couple of times to see what it felt like...then I went to bed so Mom and Dad could finish.
I also went to my first pumpkin patch to pick out my pumpkin! It was a lot of fun and I hope I get to go again next year. You'll have to check out the photos...there were so many pumpkins I don't know how a kid can choose!
Mom and Dad and I watched "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!" Okay, I watched for about 2 minutes, but then I had to go off and do some playing!
And, I went to watch Dad and a bunch of guys from his work play football...it was a nice Sunday afternoon at the park. And Mom and I got to take a stroll in my stroller.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get to the computer and update all of you on what I've been up to...October was a busy month!
I've attached a sampling of my photo ops from the month...hope you all enjoy! And stay tuned for my next update...its the biggest of the year!
Catch you all again soon,
Reese

Dear Reese,
Nana & I enjoyed reading your October news & seeing your pictures. You sure looked like your mother in the picture where you were standing and looked like your daddy in the house with the pumpkin. Loved the sunglasses! I've spent the weekend with Nana after she picked Caitlin & me up in College Station for the Blackcat football play-off game. We won & had a good time. Caitlin got sick today & had to go home early. Nana & I baked cookies, went to Arlington to the mall, rode a merry-go-round, played in the Little Golden books playground, and ate a good supper with a chocolate fried pie and ice cream for dessert. We're getting ready for bed & a movie. Can't wait to see pictures of your 1st birthday!!
Love you lots,
Emily & Nana
Oops, we made a mistake. You looked like your mommy in the picture where you're wearing your Halloween pumpkin outfit! You're too cute for words!
Love,
Emily & Nana
