Summer in Texas

Hello Everyone!

It's been a couple of months since my last update, so I thought I better sit down and share my goings on.

My biggest adventure since my last update was a trip to Wisconsin to see Grandpa and help him celebrate his 60th birthday! It was a surprise and boy was he surprised! It was a great trip - I got to see and hang out with the whole family! While I was there I stayed up late every night, as I didn't want to miss out on any of the action. I also took a swim in the hotel pool with all the other little ones. And I wasn't the little kid this time...I was the big kid! There were lots of babies there!

I also got to hang out with my friend Bennett! He lives in Minnesota, so we saw him and his parents before we drove over to Wisconsin. We had a good time playing with all of his cool toys.

We also made a trip up to the pond in Oklahoma for Memorial Day. We hung out with my cousins there too. Mommy took me in the creek for a little swimming. I thought it was cool to walk on the rocks.

Mom and Dad took me to Glen Rose, Texas this weekend. We visited the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. I got to feed the deer! They stuck their heads right in the truck! And Mommy and Daddy fed the giraffe right from their hands...the giraffe scared me a little though. It was really cool, but we forgot the camera!

I am taking swim lessons again this summer. Mommy said I did much better this weekend and I had fun holding onto the ledge and kicking my legs. I still don't like sticking my face all the way in the water, but I am starting to get used to it.

And since it is summer in Texas it is hot! Mommy and Daddy decided I could use a little pool of my own. So, I have a little one in the backyard that we can all get in to cool off on those hot days.

I was in charge of the pool filling activities!

Time to Hear What I've Been Up To...

Hello Again!

Since January I've been pretty busy...went to Mexia, Oklahoma and Snyder for a few short weekend excursions. I had Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter parties at school and enjoyed my fair share of chocolate, cookies, and other yummy snacks!

I also moved from my crib to my very own "big girl bed"!!! I helped Mommy pick the bedding and enjoyed jumping on the beds when we picked out my mattress! Check out the pictures of me on the first day...I don't even fall out! I do like to get up and go see what Mommy and Daddy are doing after they put me to bed sometimes!



I also had the chance to see Disney on Ice! It was really cool (and I mean cool as in chilly) and very exciting! Mommy took pictures of all the great skating and even a couple of me enjoying the show!

I also enjoyed a little Easter egg hunting...I like the eggs with yummy candy inside!

Too Long Since My Last Update...

Hello All!

I must start off saying that I am sorry I've been so tardy in getting you all updated with my goings on. The end of 2009 was very busy for me and the family and 2010 has started off pretty busy too!

Let's see...in October Mom and Dad took my to the pumpkin patch so I could find a pumpkin. I also went to my first Halloween Party and went Trick O Treating with my friend Abby. I was a flower and Abby was Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz.

In November, well I turned 2!!! I had a small party at the house and my friends from Daycare and the neighborhood all got to come and enjoy a Pooh Cupcake Cake with me! We stayed in Colorado for Thanksgiving...and enjoyed dinner with our friends and neighbors!

Then is was the first week of December and everything I knew was going to change. Mom took a new position with work and we were heading to Dallas, Texas. So Mom, Dad, me, and the dogs all loaded up in the UHaul trucks and headed out to Texas. It was really hard to say good-bye to my friends at school and Abby, but Mom and Dad say that I will be able to go back for visits. We made it to our new house down in Dallas and then had to go through all the unpacking...well, I didn't do much of that, but I sure had fun getting into trouble while Mom and Dad did!

December was action packed...I got to see Nana, Papa, Uncle Chris, Aunt Jo, Cameron, Laney, Uncle Damon, Caitlin, Emily, and Uncle Corey for a whole weekend. Nana and Uncle Corey spent Christmas Eve with us too...and guess what...we had a White Christmas here in Texas! Then Mom and I headed down to Aunt Candice and Uncle Tim's house to see my new cousin Dylan...oh and of course Aunt Candice and Uncle Tim. Then it was time to head up to Oklahoma for New Year's at Grandmother and Granddad's.

Now its January and I am back to school and getting into all sorts of mischief! I will try to be much better about my updates, so stay tuned for the further adventures of me!
